"Paseo con Lidia" is a one-afternoon painting for the XIII Contest of Open-Air Fast Painting held by Caja Rural Granada. It showcases my friend Lidia while watching one of the typical kiosks found in Granada and the colors of a sunny September afternoon in the city.

"Del otro lado de la Escalera" is a 7h painting created for the XIII Open Air Painting Contest of Huércal de Almería, hosted by the town’s City Hall. The charming Huércal’s library sets the location. While painting it locals would proudly point out the origin of its gate—a stone door rescued from an old farmhouse. Acrylic on canvas, 176x93 cm.
